Honest pricing for honest work.

A cat at a cash machine

My Feline is built by a small UK team. Here's what it costs and where your money goes.

The plans

Two ways to join us early, both at a meaningful discount to standard pricing. Whichever you choose, your rate is locked in for as long as you stay subscribed.

Early bird

For cat people who back us before the reviews come in

A thank-you price for trusting us before we've had time to prove ourselves. Roughly a third off standard pricing.

  • £3.99 per month
  • £38 per year
  • £150 lifetime, paid once, never billed again

Available for the first four months after launch. Like beta pricing, your rate is locked in for as long as you stay subscribed.

Why we charge

Most cat apps are free, but free comes at a cost you don't always see. Here's how we're different.

No ads, no data sales

Most cat apps make money by selling your data, showing you adverts, or pushing you towards products on commission. We don't do any of that, and we're not going to.

A real UK team

We read peer-reviewed research and translate it into plain English. We speak to vets and behaviourists. We engage with cat-focused businesses up and down the country to understand how they actually serve cats.

Funds the next thing

Your subscription pays our wages and keeps our servers in the UK. It funds the next feature, the next round of research, the next conversation with a specialist.

No big marketing budget, no sponsored content, no quiet partnerships you don't know about. Just you, your cat, and a small team trying to do this properly.

What your subscription pays for

A short list, because we think you should know:

  • The team who write, review and update the articles in the Library
  • Time spent reading peer-reviewed research and translating it into something useful
  • Designing, running and analysing our symptom checker surveys, and acting on what they tell us
  • Engaging with UK businesses that work with cats, getting real insights into how they operate
  • Building and maintaining the app, including new features
  • UK-based servers and the privacy infrastructure that keeps your data yours
  • The cost of saying no to investors and advertisers who'd rather we did things differently

Common questions

Can I try before I subscribe?

Beta testers get twelve months free, so you've effectively got a year to decide. For early bird sign-ups there's no free trial, but the App Store and Google Play both let you cancel and request a refund within their standard windows. We'd rather be straight with you than dress up a seven day trial as something it isn't.

What happens to my price if you put prices up later?

Nothing. Whatever rate you sign up at is the rate you keep, for as long as you stay subscribed. Standard pricing after the early bird window will be meaningfully higher, but it won't apply to anyone who signed up before then.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Manage everything through the App Store or Google Play, the same way you'd cancel anything else. We don't make it difficult and we don't email you trying to talk you out of it.

What's the difference between beta and early bird, really?

Beta testers are helping us build the app while it's still being shaped. We respond to their feedback, fix the things they flag, and add the things they ask for. By the time early bird opens, the app has launched and the shape of it is set. Early bird sign ups are backing us before reviews exist, which is its own kind of trust, but they're getting the finished product rather than helping shape it. The pricing reflects that.

Why isn't there a free version?

Because a free version would mean either advertising, data sales, or building a worse app to push people towards a paid one. None of those sit right with us. We'd rather charge a fair price and earn it.

Where does my money actually go?

Wages, research, symptom checker analysis, engagement with UK cat businesses, app development, UK servers. We're a small team, not a venture funded startup, and every subscription matters.
